Dr. Nichole Ramsbottom joins Coastal Pediatric Dentistry.
Southport, NC – June 29, 2018 – Coastal Pediatric Dentistry announced Thursday evening at the Downtown Southport Inc Summer Concert Series in the Park that Dr. Nichole Ramsbottom will join the team at Coastal Pediatric Dentistry as a second full time pediatric dentist.
Dr. Nichole was born in Wilmington, NC and later lived on Oak Island before moving to Clearwater, FL. She returned to North Carolina to earn her undergraduate degree in Biology at Wake Forest University. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine at East Carolina University. Following dental school, Dr. Nichole gained specialty training in pediatric dentistry at NYU Langone Health – Brooklyn (formerly Lutheran Medical Center) in New York City. She has recently moved back to North Carolina and is excited to join Dr. Cecilia Liu and the Coastal Pediatric Team on July 9th.
Dr. Cecilia Liu and Dr. Nichole Ramsbottom both hold hospital privileges at Novant Hospital.
Coastal Pediatric Dentistry was launched in September of 2016 to meet the emerging need for pediatric dental services in Brunswick County. Coastal Pediatric Dentistry is an affiliate of Coastal Cosmetic Family Dentistry, providing a comprehensive list of services so that parents do not have to travel outside of Brunswick County for pediatric dental care. They offer extended office hours and some Saturdays to eliminate missing school and/or extracurricular activities.
Coastal Pediatric Dentistry is conveniently located in the same building as Coastal Cosmetic Family Dentistry at the Bolivia (Hwy 211) location, allowing busy moms the opportunity to get the entire family’s dental needs taken care of under one roof.
An active educator and advocate in the community for Children’s dental wellness, each year Coastal Pediatric Dentistry hosts an annual Give Kids A Smile event providing a day of FREE dental services and eduaction to children in need. They also participate in the annual Dentistry From the Heart event held at Coastal Cosmetic Family Dentistry in May. Another signature event, the Halloween Candy Buy Back program collected over 100lbs of candy to be sent via care-packages to troops serving overseas in the US Military.
