Valuable links to many member businesses, important local agencies and county government are all here on one page. Our membership directory is printed and mailed once a year to every address in Mokena, becoming a valuable resource for residents and businesses alike.
#7 General Membership Meetings & Business Education Series . . . General membership meetings are held locally one Wednesday a month. You’ll learn from an educational or community interest speaker at each meeting. Get to know your village officials and fellow chamber members.
#6 Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies…A ribbon cutting ceremony is the best way to quickly bring awareness to your business. Typically scheduled on Thursday evenings at 5:30 p.m. this ceremony introduces you and your employees, along with your location, products, and services to the community. Board members and chamber Ambassadors along with elected officials are encouraged to attend this event. Current members use business anniversaries, special announcements, etc., to schedule additional ribbon cuttings. Pictures are posted on our website and Facebook. The press is informed when there is a ribbon cutting.
#5 Business After Hours … A Business After Hours (B.A.H.) is a great way for informal networking in a social setting with fellow chamber members. B.A.H.s are typically held on Thursday evenings from 5-7 p.m.
